Established by Eng. FATHY ABDELMAKSOUD in 1980 as technical workshop and renamed in 1997 as SHM Industries company.
SHM is the most eminent manufacturer for fuel station tanks in Africa and the Middle East.
Producing not less than 800 tanks annually, SHM tanks and its accessories are distributed since 1980, SHM Industries is located in Obour City in the Arab Republic of Egypt which witnessed the birth of the first double wall tank in the Middle East.

Integrated Management System Policy
SHM is a leading company in the field of designing and manufacturing gas station fuel tanks, area canopies, services, equipment, installation and maintenance. Therefore, the company implemented an integrated management system that meets the requirements of the international standards of quality management system, environment, safety and occupational health ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
A general framework has been set for the objectives of quality, environment, safety and occupational health of the company to address the risks, opportunities and environmental impacts within the company as determined by top management and in line with the purpose and context of the organization and supports its strategic management as follows:
- 1- Customer satisfaction by providing products and services that comply with technical specifications, laws and legislation.
- 2- Raising the level of performance of employees and operational to provide a product that conforms to the specifications.
